Lake Chala is an impressive crater lake in the shadow of Mount Kilimanjaro. The lake is located 55km northeast of Moshi town on the south-eastern flank of Mt Kilimanjaro on the Kenyan border. In fact, the international border between Tanzania and Kenya runs through the middle of the lake! This place is a real find for tourists who like panoramic views and quiet recreation.
