A hike through the Southern Pare Mountains will take you through local villages and beautiful forests, and offer an opportunity to explore attractions off the beaten tracks of Northern Tanzania.

At the summit of the mountains, you will find the Chome Forest Reserve – a lush tropical forest home to rare plants and animals. Pare Mountain hikes can range from single-day excursions to extended trips and can be combined with a visit to Mkomazi National Park or Lake Jipe.
