Amenities – Toilets & Showers

The toilets along the trails are “long drop” public toilets located at every campsite. These toilets are small-wooden houses built on a deep hole dug in the ground. 

We provide private toilets on all climbs; you do not have to use the public toilet. 

Note: Shower facilities do not exist on Mount Kilimanjaro.

 

Accommodation

During the climb, you will sleep in spacious tents on all routes except for Marangu-where you will sleep in communal mountain huts. Each hut has a bunk bed, a sponge mattress, and a pillow.
